Student-Teacher Assessment Tools

The repertoire of resources which may be developed towards this goal may include concept maps, teacher competency surveys, concept inventories, and methods of creative forms of assessment.

Resource Materials

The OAE Center India may contribute to development of online as well as offline resources for school level astronomy education. It will explore possibilities to provide support for such resources in multiple languages including major Indian languages.

Regional Capacity Building

The OAE Center India will organize teacher training programmes and work on a model common astronomy curriculum rooted in local context. As a result of this exercise a learning standards document for astronomy education may evolve.
