IAU - Office of Astronomy for Education (OAE) has developed an astronomy glossary (click here) for the primary and secondary schools.
This glossary is a repository of astronomy related terms which are explained in a simple and lucid language. It has been developed by the professional astronomers.
This is intended to be a go to resource for the teachers / educators and students to learn about the general terms in astronomy.
We want this to be accessible by all the students across India,hence its important to translate the glossary into as many Indian languages as possible.
OAE Center - India encourages teachers and educators from STEM background to sign up as volunteers for the translation of the glossary into various other Indian languages.
